Jharkhand Govt launches ‘J-Guruji’ learning app for school Students

In an attempt to boost digital literacy among government school students in the state, the Government of Jharkhand has launched an application namely ‘J-Guruji App’. The app is an initiative of the School Education and Literacy Department.
The app was recently launched by Jharkhand Chief Minister, Hemant Soren. Around 45 lakh students studying in the state’s government-run schools can benefit from this application.

Study materials just a click away

The J-Guruji App has been designed in a way so as to provide students with books and other reading materials, notes, references, quiz and test series with answers to the questions. Everything can be accessed in just one click. The content has been designed to cater to both primary and higher secondary students.

The app is completely free of cost for students. For being able to access the learning modules and test papers, students will have to log in using their e-Vidyavahini login password.
J-Guruji App is available on Google Play Store.

Efforts to boost digital literacy

The Government of Jharkhand has been working to encourage digital literacy among the students.
Earlier this year, the Government of Jharkhand announced a cash reward of Rs 1-3 lakh each for the state toppers of the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), CBSE and ICSE/ISC board exams as well as laptop worth Rs 60,000 and a mobile phone worth Rs 20,000 for board toppers.
