The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models are anticipated to be powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, reportedly constructed on TSMC’s 2nm process, presenting the possibility of enhanced speed and improved energy efficiency over the existing 3nm technology. This advancement could result in palpable performance gains when compared to previous models, particularly regarding on-device artificial intelligence functions.

In terms of photographic capabilities, notable improvements may be introduced with a variable aperture system for the 48-megapixel main camera.
