As part of its avowed commitment to extend a helping hand to marginalized sections of the society, Allcargo Logistics will support free-of-cost cardiac & other life-saving surgeries for 50 underprivileged children.  Comprehensive cardiac care will also be provided to children from needy families as part of this initiative.
“Children are the greatest asset of our country and the very foundation on which its future will be built and sustained. It is our foremost duty to ensure that our future generations are strong, healthy and disease-free.  Allcargo’s collaboration with SRCC Children’s Hospital and Narayana Hrudayalaya gives us the opportunity to help children from underprivileged sections of society get advanced heart care and treatment, so they can live a better, healthier life. We would like to thank Dr. Devi Shetty for trusting us as partners in this noble endeavour,” says Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman – Allcargo Logistics, ECU Worldwide and Gati.
“India has the world’s largest number of children born with heart disease. Unfortunately, most of them cannot afford to undergo corrective heart surgery. Narayana Hrudayalaya with SRCC Children’s Hospital is extremely grateful to Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman of Allcargo logistics and his family for coming forward to help us with life-saving surgeries of children with heart disease,” says Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman & Founder, Narayana Health
Upholding the belief that education is the key to building an inclusive society and nation, Allcargo Logistics will aim to bring these children into the educational mainstream under its Disha and Disha Career Seed projects, thus contributing to their social and economic empowerment too.
