Inauguration of IWRMP Mahad
Ambuja Foundation, known for its various efficient water management programs, announced its partnership with IndusInd Bank to launch the integrated Water Resource Management Program (IWRMP) in the Mahad area of Raigad district in Maharashtra. The collaborative initiative aims to confront and address the various challenges concerning water and agriculture that prevail in nine different villages of the Gandhari Catchments Cluster in the region.
The newly launched program aims to create awareness among the villagers around water conservation practices through the implementation of comprehensive measures such as soil water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and groundwater recharge. The IWRMP project focuses on achieving sustainable water access by deploying innovative technological solutions, ensuring year-round clean drinking water in the project villages.
