Pramod Tiwari, a senior member of the Congress party, has voiced his strong support for Independent MP Pappu Yadav following the recent disturbances during Yadav’s press conference. Tiwari reiterated that the right to freedom of expression is fundamental in India, emphasising that the views of individuals, including those of a six-time MP, should be acknowledged.

During his comments to ANI, Tiwari noted that regardless of personal agreement, it is essential for all ideologies to be heard. He condemned any threats made by others that could suggest violent actions against those who hold opposing views. Tiwari stated, “If someone speaks in a fascist manner that we will have them attacked, we will go right to their home and attack them, is condemnable,” affirming his stance on the matter.
