The decision comes after a string of events related to her participation in various media projects. During an episode of a podcast, she disclosed that she would move to the US shortly, highlighting her affection for the city developed over multiple visits.

Apoorva mentioned, “I am moving to New York in two days,” further emphasising that by the time the podcast was released, she would have already transitioned to the new city. She expressed a strong emotional connection to New York, saying, “I really want to live here.”

The influencer described the vibrancy of the city, noting its fast-paced lifestyle, well-dressed population, and excellent food. She also expressed her admiration for the architecture and mentioned that she has seen the city portrayed in many of her favourite web series, which deepened her desire to reside there.

Apoorva disclosed that she had applied to a college in New York as part of her relocation plan and received acceptance. She shared her excitement about returning to student life, stating that she would be living in a dormitory. Apoorva was part of the panel that garnered criticism, particularly due to her confrontation with a contestant.

The fallout led to FIRs being filed against the involved parties, and Apoorva reported receiving disturbing death and rape threats. This negative attention has highlighted the darker aspects of being in the public eye, particularly in the digital age.
