The CSR Journal Magazine

Allu Aravind and Sneha Reddy, the wife of actor Allu Arjun, have visited the home of Sritej, a young victim injured in a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad. The visit highlights their commitment to providing support as the family deals with the aftermath of this tragic incident.

Sritej sustained serious injuries in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024, and required extensive medical care, including several weeks on ventilator support. His condition has deeply affected his family, particularly following the loss of his mother during the chaos of the stampede.

During their visit, the Allu family expressed their concern for Sritej’s recovery, spending time with his relatives and discussing his ongoing treatment regime. They assured the family of their continued assistance as Sritej navigates the challenges of his rehabilitation.

Educational Support Promised for Sritej’s Sister

As part of their support, Allu Aravind pledged to assist with the educational expenses of Sritej’s younger sister. He reportedly encouraged her to pursue her studies, assuring the family that he would cover all related costs. This gesture further underscores the Allu family’s commitment to supporting the family during this difficult period.

Reports indicate that the Allu family and the production team behind Pushpa have been actively involved in covering Sritej’s medical expenses since the incident. Their ongoing financial assistance plays a crucial role as he continues to receive medical rehabilitation and care.

Visuals of the visit were shared on social media by a fan page dedicated to Allu Arjun, showcasing the family’s dedication to supporting Sritej and his family during these trying times. The display of compassion and community involvement received positive responses online.

Sritej’s Ongoing Recovery Journey

Sritej was initially admitted to the emergency department in a semi-conscious state after the incident, suffering multitudes of injuries. Following a period of unconsciousness, he faced severe complications, including respiratory failure. After spending nearly five months in intensive care, he was released in April 2025 and transferred to a rehabilitation centre in Ramgopalpet for gradual recovery.

The family has emphasised the long road ahead in Sritej’s recovery. His father, Mogadampalli Bhaskar, shared concerns about the lack of significant improvement, stating that Sritej struggles to recognise familiar faces. He is currently undergoing therapy focused on speech and swallowing, as his condition remains challenging.

Despite the hardships, the family continues to hold onto hope for Sritej’s recovery. They have received previous financial aid, which has reportedly been instrumental in managing their circumstances as Sritej remains under care. The ongoing dedication from both the Allu family and surrounding community serves as a beacon of support during this period of adversity.
