The CSR Journal Magazine

In a remarkable display of academic proficiency, Aditya Gupta has attained All India Rank (AIR) 1 in Session 2 of the JEE Main 2026 examination, achieving a flawless score of 300 out of 300. His accomplishment has been credited to a disciplined and methodical study regimen. During the final phase of preparation, Aditya adhered to a stringent 12-hour daily study schedule, emphasising comprehension of core concepts and thorough revision of class notes instead of opting for quick shortcuts.

He incorporated regular mock tests into his routine, using them as a critical tool for evaluating his progress and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, Aditya concentrated on mastering inorganic chemistry, referring to it as a “scoring area.” He believed that a solid grasp of this subject could substantially enhance his overall marks when approached diligently.

Support System and Consistent Learning

Aditya has shared that his sustained consistency over a two-year period emerged from a place of curiosity and the genuine pleasure derived from learning, rather than external pressure. This approach contributed significantly to his ability to prevent burnout throughout his extensive preparation journey.

He attributes his success to the unwavering support from his family, teachers, and school during this period. Aditya’s father, who works as a manufacturer, and his mother, a homemaker, served as crucial sources of motivation and encouragement through both challenging and successful moments. His instructors at Vidya Mandir Classes played an instrumental role in guiding him through academic obstacles and ensuring he remained focused during trying times.

The nurturing environment at his school also allowed him to effectively manage the dual demands of CBSE board examinations and JEE preparation, further enhancing his ability to excel.

Managing Stress and Preparing for Future Aspirations

Aditya acknowledges that moments of self-doubt arose, particularly when grappling with complex topics or experiencing underwhelming performance phases. However, he credits the consistent support from his mentors for helping him maintain focus during these challenging times. He believes that success in the JEE examination demands not only academic proficiency but also emotional resilience.

To alleviate stress, Aditya often turned to classical music and timeless songs, which aided in maintaining his composure and refreshing his mind. Daily mock tests served to further enhance his ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Despite experiencing a less-than-expected performance in Session 1, he retained confidence and adapted his strategies effectively for Session 2.

Looking ahead, Aditya aspires to pursue a degree in Computer Science Engineering at IIT Delhi, motivated by its esteemed academic culture, distinguished alumni, and a competitive peer environment. While he has not yet outlined the specifics of his long-term ambitions, he remains focused on incremental progress and aims to make significant contributions in the field of technology, particularly concerning artificial intelligence.
