2 AM Horror: Man Shot Dead Over Parking Dispute In Delhi

A 34-year-old individual was shot dead in the early hours of Monday due to a parking disagreement in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, according to police reports. The victim, identified as Pankaj Nayyar, was involved in an argument regarding parking arrangements with another man, Gaurav Sharma. The confrontation escalated quickly, leading to a tragic outcome.

Altercation and Shooting

The fatal incident occurred around 2.20 am, when the altercation turned violent. During the exchange of words, Gaurav Sharma allegedly drew a firearm and shot Pankaj Nayyar in the chest. The severity of the injury necessitated immediate medical attention, and Nayyar was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital, medical staff attempted to resuscitate him; however, he was pronounced dead shortly after being admitted. The rapid escalation from a heated discussion to gunfire highlights the potentially deadly consequences of such disputes.

Following the incident, the police took swift action by registering a First Information Report (FIR). The charges included murder, as stipulated under section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code, and several other related offences such as voluntarily causing hurt under section 115(2), along with provisions for common intention under section 3(5). Additionally, sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act were invoked due to the use of a firearm in the commission of the crime.

Police are actively seeking to locate and apprehend Gaurav Sharma, who is alleged to have fled the scene after the incident.
