Rashtrapati Bhavan has announced that Amrit Udyan will be open to the public from August 16 to September 15 as part of its Summer Annuals edition, giving visitors another opportunity to explore one of Delhi’s most popular heritage gardens.

Entry to the gardens will be free throughout the month-long public viewing period. The President’s Secretariat has advised visitors to check the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website for the latest information on registration, visitor guidelines and security protocols before planning their visit.

Public Viewing Schedule Announced

Amrit Udyan will remain open to visitors from August 16 to September 15, 2026.

The gardens will be open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with the last entry permitted until 5 pm.

The gardens will remain closed every Monday during the public viewing period to facilitate routine maintenance.

Entry Free for Visitors

The President’s Secretariat has announced that there will be no entry fee during the public opening.

Visitors are advised to carry a valid photo identity card and comply with security procedures while entering the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises.

Authorities have also recommended checking the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website for any updates regarding visitor registration or changes to entry guidelines.

One of Delhi’s Most Iconic Gardens

Amrit Udyan, formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, is among the most prominent attractions within the Rashtrapati Bhavan estate.

The gardens combine Mughal and British landscaping styles and are known for their seasonal flower displays, landscaped lawns, fountains, water channels and themed garden sections.
