Udaipur Woman’s Death Leads To Kidnapping And Murder Of Husband

The CSR Journal Magazine

The recent death of a 25-year-old woman during medical treatment in Udaipur, Rajasthan, has resulted in severe conflict between her marital and parental families, ultimately leading to the abduction and murder of her husband. The woman, identified as Paru, was the spouse of Pintoolal Vadera and passed away on April 28, 2026, at Maharana Bhupal Hospital in Udaipur.

Paru’s health began to deteriorate on April 24, prompting her transfer initially to a local hospital in Ogna. As her condition worsened, she was referred to a better-equipped facility in Udaipur where she succumbed to her illness, prompting a distressing set of events.

Violent Escalation Following Death

After Paru’s passing, her husband, Pintoolal, contacted her family in Ambavi village to inform them of the unfortunate news. Reportedly, on the evening of the incident, numerous relatives of Paru arrived in Chokhalabara, allegedly armed and accusing Pintoolal’s family of being responsible for her death.

The group created disturbances, vandalised property, and caused unrest in the area. Local villagers responded by alerting law enforcement. However, reports indicate that police did not effectively manage the situation as the mob engaged in destructive behaviour. In an attempt to avoid further conflict, Pintoolal and his family sought refuge away from the village.

By the time authorities regained control of the situation, the armed group had dispersed, but tensions remained high in the community.

Kidnapping And Alleged Murder

The situation turned dire when, amid the kidnapping, Pintoolal was reportedly killed. The details surrounding by what means and circumstances of his death are currently under investigation by local authorities. Following these incidents, the community remains on edge, with law enforcement monitoring the area closely.

Authorities have stated that they are actively pursuing leads connected to the case and striving to ensure the safety of local residents. Further developments are awaited as investigations continue into the tragic events that unfolded following the woman’s death.
