While the BJP’s victory in Gujarat offered a semblance of reassurance, the margin of victory—30,630 votes—pales in comparison to the overwhelming margin of over 1,00,000 votes achieved in 2022.

In contrast, the BJP faced a setback in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, where the Congress retained its foothold, defeating the BJP by over 6,000 votes. These results signal a need for the party to reevaluate its strategies in both established and emerging constituencies across the Hindi heartland.
