Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda Seek Blessings at Tirupati Temple

The CSR Journal Magazine

Following their private wedding ceremony in Udaipur, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to kick-start their married life. On Sunday, the couple greeted temple devotees and distributed sweets, marking the beginning of a series of celebratory events across India. Videos circulating online capture Vijay guiding Rashmika through the crowd, with the two sharing smiles and interactions with onlookers.

Traditional Attire and Family Presence

Dressed in traditional attire, Rashmika wore a vibrant green-and-gold saree complemented by jewellery and subtle makeup, while Vijay opted for a white kurta paired with a bright red shawl. Their outfits reflected their joyous occasion as they connected with fans in attendance.

Warm Interactions with Devotee

Accompanying the couple was Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, who joined in the festivities at the temple. The newlyweds expressed their gratitude to those who gathered to celebrate the occasion, maintaining a warm demeanor throughout their visit.

Many fans present at the temple showed eagerness to capture photographs with the couple. Reports detail that while Rashmika and Vijay acknowledged the affection shown by their admirers, they politely declined requests for pictures as they moved through the gathering.

Sweet Distribution Across 23 Cities

During this festive visit, the couple engaged with devotees by distributing sweets, fostering an atmosphere of joy and community spirit. The gesture was well-received by those around, amplifying the sense of celebration among their supporters.

Simultaneously, the couple has organized the distribution of thousands of sweet boxes across 23 major Indian cities such as Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Teams, donning specially designed attire featuring the initials “V & R,” are using decorated trucks to hand out these treats. Each box includes a QR code, allowing recipients to send their blessings to the couple, thereby extending the celebratory atmosphere into the streets.

Annadanam and Community Giving

In addition to the sweet distribution, Annadanam, or sacred food offerings, are being conducted at various temples throughout India. This initiative reflects the couple’s commitment to giving back to the community and seeking blessings as part of their wedding celebrations. The overall effort aims to ensure that their marriage festivities are meaningful and inclusive.
