NEET Case-Accused Rajasthan Family’s Five Students Disappear

The CSR Journal Magazine

Several members of a Rajasthan family implicated in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case have reportedly gone missing following the arrests of three relatives by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The arrested individuals are Dinesh Biwal, Mangilal Biwal, and Vikas Biwal, whose detentions have heightened concerns of a broader examination leak network that is believed to be operational across multiple academic years.

According to insiders, numerous children from the Biwal family, all of whom have secured placements in various government medical colleges after passing the NEET in recent years, have left their respective institutions and are now untraceable. Students unaccounted for include Palak from SMS Medical College in Jaipur, Pragati from Dausa Medical College, Sonia from a medical college in Mumbai, and Gunjan from Banaras Medical College.

Another family member, Vikas Biwal, who has connections to Sawai Madhopur Medical College, had been arrested earlier as part of this ongoing investigation. The CBI’s probe into the suspected leak of the NEET-UG 2026 question paper has intensified with these developments.

Investigators Uncover Evidence at Family Residence

Investigators believe that the Biwal family not only obtained leaked examination papers for their children but also distributed them through coaching institute networks, particularly in Sikar district. This region is a well-known hub for coaching medical aspirants in Rajasthan.

During a search of the family’s home in Jamwa Ramgarh, located near Jaipur, the CBI reportedly unearthed a variety of documents and digital evidence linked to the alleged paper leak operation. These findings are believed to provide insight into the family’s role in the procurement and dissemination of examination papers.

Notably, the investigation has indicated that the leaked NEET paper this year was allegedly obtained for Rishi, the son of Dinesh Biwal, who is an average Class 12 student at Janaki Public School in Natata village. School authorities disclosed to investigators that Rishi only enrolled in the institution a year ago after departing from his previous studies in Sikar and acknowledged that NEET coaching is not provided at their school.

Ongoing CBI Action and Broader Implications

Law enforcement officials have revealed that the Biwal family might have engaged in leaking and arranging medical entrance examination papers in previous years as well. The implications of this case not only raise questions about the integrity of the NEET examination process but also point toward a potentially expansive network involved in examination fraud across multiple years.

In a related development, the CBI has arrested PV Kulkarni, a chemistry lecturer based in Pune, who allegedly had access to NEET question papers due to his association with the National Testing Agency. He is accused of leaking access to questions during private tutor sessions before the NEET examination held on May 3.

The situation is ongoing, and authorities continue to investigate the family’s potential connections to a wider examination leak scandal, which might involve multiple stakeholders across the education system in the region.
