Lightning Strike Claims Lives of 12-Year-Old Girl and Woman in Chandauli

As the weather rapidly deteriorated with the onset of thunderstorms, lightning struck their vicinity, leading to fatal injuries for both Ruby and Laxmi. Following reports of the lightning strike, local law enforcement promptly arrived at the scene to take control of the situation. The police secured the area and transported the bodies to the appropriate facility for post-mortem examinations. Pankaj Yadav, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Chakia, confirmed that the fatalities were indeed caused by the lightning strike. He stated that the administrative procedures necessary for addressing the incident are currently in progress. Furthermore, Yadav assured that the families of the deceased would receive financial assistance from the government under the disaster relief provisions.
