Delhi police arrested 25 a 25-year-old woman, Zikra Khan, also known as the ‘Lady Don’ in Delhi’s Salempur. The arrest happened in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy, Kunal, who was killed around 6 PM on Thursday, just a few metres away from his house. 

According to the police, Kunal was killed in a revenge attack in association with an earlier altercation between an associate of the deceased and one of the suspects. Zikra confessed to being involved in the murder during interrogation by the police.

Protests in Seelampur

The stabbing incident led to late-night protests by the family of the teenager and neighbours. This prompted the security forces to top up Seelampur. The incident eventually drew the capital city’s top political leaders’ attention.

Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, assured the family of the deceased that justice will be done. “I have talked to the commissioner of police. The police are making all efforts, and I hope the accused will be arrested soon,” said Gupta.
