Boy Found Dead in Grandmother’s Home Amid Black Magic Allegations

The CSR Journal Magazine

A six-year-old boy has been discovered deceased under enigmatic circumstances in Vellore district, Tamil Nadu. The child, identified as Mugilan, was allegedly found dead at his grandmother’s residence, triggering suspicion and claims from relatives regarding the potential involvement of black magic and human sacrifice.

Initial reports indicate that the boy exhibited burn marks on his body, prompting local authorities to recover the remains following information from family members and community residents. A post-mortem examination has been ordered to establish the cause of death, which remains unconfirmed at this time.

According to police sources, Mugilan was the son of Rajesh and Asha, a couple reportedly facing marital discord since his birth. The parents lived separately for several years before reconciling, subsequently relocating for work while leaving their son in the care of his paternal grandmother, Vijaya.

Allegations of Black Magic and Familial Discontent

Relatives of the deceased have alleged that Vijaya engaged in black magic practices and that Rajesh’s sister, Revathi, who resides in the same village, harboured animosity towards Mugilan. They claimed she blamed the child for the ongoing issues within his parents’ marriage.

Following these allegations, both Vijaya and Revathi have been detained for questioning by police. Preliminary investigations have revealed signs of burn injuries and a possible head injury caused by a blunt object; however, a definitive cause of death has yet to be ascertained.

The situation has spurred rampant speculation within the local community regarding the possibility of a human sacrifice linked to rituals believed to have been conducted on Amavasya, or new moon day. Reports have surfaced that unusual items typically associated with occult practices were found at the grandmother’s home, further intensifying the conjectures.

Police Response and Ongoing Investigation

In light of the unfolding events, police officials have clarified that, thus far, there is no concrete evidence to support the allegations of human sacrifice or black magic. Authorities have urged the public to refrain from speculation while the investigation proceeds.

Forensic and post-mortem reports are anticipated, with police stating that comprehensive details regarding the circumstances surrounding the child’s death will emerge following scientific analysis. The situation remains critical as investigators seek to uncover the truth behind the tragic incident.

As the investigation continues, the local community remains on edge about the implications of possible occult practices linked to the child’s death. Authorities are focused on gathering all necessary evidence to bring clarity to the case and ensure the safety of the neighbourhood.
