The CSR Journal Magazine

A Bihar Court has granted interim relief to educator Faisal Khan, commonly known as ‘Khan Sir’, during the proceedings of his anticipatory bail plea. This development occurred on June 20, as the court upheld an order preventing any coercive actions against him until the next hearing date. The ruling is in relation to the allegations stemming from an incident involving a firing and vandalism episode that took place outside his coaching institute.

Details of the Incident

On June 2, an FIR was filed by the Patna Police against Faisal Khan and two additional individuals following a disturbance outside the Khan Global Studies Institute. Reports indicated that a group of people vandalised the premises and hurled stones at the institute. The events unfolded late in the night, with police confirming that the troublesome activities began around 10:10 PM.

Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of two security personnel from the institute based on video evidence. The police statement revealed that the footage showed these guards engaging in aerial firing after the vandalism occurred. As a result, the authorities took action to apprehend the identified individuals.

The police have registered Case No. 410/26, which is currently under investigation. The video evidence contributed significantly to the process, with officials naming Khan Sir and two others in the FIR, citing sections related to abetment and the Arms Act. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is working to ensure a thorough resolution to the case.

Police Appeal to Students

In the aftermath of the incident, the Patna Police addressed the student community, urging them to remain unwavering amid ongoing rivalries among different coaching institutes. The police emphasised that students should not be influenced by the competitive environment that may lead to such unrest.

In their communication, the police stated that there will be no compromises on issues linked to crime control and law enforcement. They reiterated their commitment to maintaining order and safety in the educational environment. This appeal aims to reassure the public that all necessary measures are being taken to prevent further disturbances, especially within the context of coaching institute competitions.

The police are continuing their investigations and are likely to provide updates regarding any further developments in the case. Citizens have been encouraged to report any suspicious activities, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in ensuring safety and harmony.
