Dr Priti Adani leads Silver Jubilee celebrations as new sports complex and auditorium underline focus on holistic education

Mundra (Kutch), April 27, 2026 — Adani Public School (APS), Mundra, marked its Silver Jubilee, celebrating 25 years of educational growth and community impact in the Kutch region. The milestone event brought together students, alumni, parents, and educators, reflecting on the institution’s journey from modest beginnings to a leading CBSE school.

The occasion was led by Dr Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, who has been closely associated with the school since its inception in 2001. The foundation of the school gained urgency in the aftermath of the Gujarat earthquake, when education became a crucial pillar of stability for the local community.

A Journey Rooted in Purpose

From an initial strength of 233 students and 27 teachers, APS Mundra has grown into a thriving institution with over 2,300 students and more than 100 educators. The school’s evolution highlights a consistent focus on value-based education, inclusivity, and long-term community development.

Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, emphasized the broader significance of the milestone, stating that the institution represents not just an academic centre but a space where aspirations are nurtured and futures are shaped.

Focus on Holistic Development

A key highlight of the celebrations was the inauguration of new facilities, including an indoor sports complex equipped for badminton, pickleball, and table tennis, along with a modern auditorium seating 558 people one of the largest in the Kutch region.

These additions aim to strengthen the school’s commitment to holistic education by integrating academics with sports, arts, and co-curricular engagement.

Celebrating Community and Creativity

The event featured a series of cultural and academic showcases, including STEM and robotics exhibitions, art installations, and student performances. A documentary tracing the school’s 25-year journey was screened, and a commemorative coffee table book was released to mark the milestone.

The celebrations began with a ceremonial welcome by the Bagpiper Band and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, setting the tone for a day that combined tradition with forward-looking vision.

Strengthening Community Bonds

A notable segment of the event was Dr Priti Adani’s interaction with alumni, parents, and student achievers, underscoring the enduring relationship between the school and the community it serves.

The gathering reflected a shared sense of ownership and pride among stakeholders who have contributed to the institution’s growth over the years.

Expanding Educational Outreach

Through its broader network of over 43 schools across India, the Adani Foundation continues to focus on delivering accessible and future-ready education, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Its initiatives emphasize experiential learning, skill development, and strong ethical foundations.

Operating across 22 states and impacting over 13 million lives, the foundation aligns its efforts with national priorities and global development goals.

The Silver Jubilee celebrations concluded with the school anthem, symbolizing not just a milestone achieved, but a renewed commitment to shaping future generations through education rooted in purpose and opportunity.
