Official notes regarding the film refer to it as a cinematic reconstruction comprising various authentic accounts, oral histories, and neglected documents. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 11, 2026.

In addition to Ranabaali, Vijay has commenced work on another project titled VDxShouryuv, initiated with a traditional pooja ceremony on April 20. This project has already garnered significant attention through its announcement materials. The film is helmed by Shouryuv, although further details regarding its release date remain undisclosed.

Rashmika is also preparing for her role in Cocktail 2, which features Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon as co-stars. The film has a scheduled release date of June 19, further adding to her growing list of upcoming projects.
