UP CM Yogi Unveils India’s Battle Against Terrorism, Hails President Murmu’s Life Journey

In a recent address at the Brahma Kumaris’ event in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized India’s spiritual and moral battle against terrorism. He remarked that India’s ancient traditions teach that the mind is the source of both bondage and liberation.

Drawing inspiration from Sant Ravidas, he stressed that controlling the mind leads to inner peace and contributes to the welfare of the world. CM Yogi stated that the unrest and terrorism seen globally stem from uncontrolled mental tendencies, and India continues to fight these destructive impulses both spiritually and materially.

Acknowledging President Murmu’s Journey

During the event, CM Yogi also praised President Droupadi Murmu’s life story, calling it a source of inspiration for every Indian. He highlighted her rise from a teacher to the highest office in the country, underscoring her resilience and commitment to public service. CM Yogi lauded her journey as a powerful motivational example for the nation.

Brahma Kumaris and Rajyoga’s Role

The Chief Minister commended the Brahma Kumaris’ contribution to society through its programs and the practice of Rajyoga. He specifically praised the upcoming Rajyoga training centre in Lucknow, which he believes will become one of the best facilities in Uttar Pradesh. The center will offer one-day, three-day, and week-long training programs to connect more people with spiritual and positive practices.

CM Yogi also took the opportunity to acknowledge Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to secure global recognition for yoga, especially the establishment of June 21 as International Yoga Day by the United Nations. He expressed the nation’s gratitude for the global acknowledgment of India’s ancient yoga tradition, inherited from its sages.

The event saw the participation of Governor Anandiben Patel, Rajyogi Dr. Brahma Kumar Mrityunjay, and several other dignitaries from the Brahma Kumaris. President Droupadi Murmu, who arrived in Lucknow on Friday, was warmly welcomed by CM Yogi and Governor Anandiben Patel at the airport.
