In response to the ongoing protests by farmers regarding moong procurement and various agricultural issues, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on July 29 that a committee has been formed to facilitate discussions with the farmers. This move aims to resolve the issues raised by the agricultural community through constructive dialogue. The Chief Minister urged protesters to maintain public order during this period of discourse.

CM Yadav emphasised the importance of communication between the government and farmers, asserting that the state is celebrating the “Krishi Kalyan Varsh” to promote agricultural welfare. He stated, “I have constituted a committee to hold dialogue with farmers on the concerns affecting them.” To reinforce this initiative, various ministers, including Agriculture Minister Edal Singh Kansana and others, have been deployed to engage with farmers directly.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government is committed to addressing farmers’ concerns and welcomes constructive suggestions. He appealed to both farmers and authorities to ensure that the public is not inconvenienced during this interaction. By encouraging dialogue, CM Yadav believes that viable solutions can be reached for the farmers’ welfare while considering public interests as well.

Investments in Education and Infrastructure

Alongside the discussions regarding agricultural issues, CM Yadav marked the occasion of Guru Purnima by announcing the inauguration of newly built Sandipani schools in Madhya Pradesh. He indicated that the state government has invested nearly Rs 25,000 crore in these educational institutions, which aim to establish a high standard of education across the region. “These schools will become among the finest in the country and represent a significant contribution to school education in Madhya Pradesh,” he asserted.

The establishment of Sandipani schools reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure as part of broader welfare initiatives. This commitment includes providing quality education that will benefit students across various districts. The Chief Minister expressed pride in the progressive steps being taken to improve the educational landscape within the state.

Commendation of Wildlife Conservation Efforts

On the same day, CM Yadav extended greetings to wildlife conservationists in honour of International Tiger Day, highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s status as having the highest tiger population in India. He praised the collective efforts towards wildlife conservation and recognized this accomplishment as a positive achievement for the state.

By acknowledging the significance of tiger conservation, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of biodiversity in the region. This recognition also serves to reinforce the government’s commitment to environmental stewardship and wildlife protection initiatives, which are essential for sustaining natural habitats.

In his remarks, Yadav celebrated the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders involved in conservation efforts and expressed hope for continued successes in protecting and enhancing the wildlife population in Madhya Pradesh.
