A man is suspected of having murdered a woman with whom he was in a relationship, reportedly due to her insistence on marriage. The incident occurred in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, where the accused, identified as Faisal, allegedly strangled the victim, Sana, aged 35, following her demands related to their relationship. According to Circle Officer Abhay Kumar Pandey, Faisal resided in Saifpur Khadar village under the jurisdiction of the Mandawar police station. He had met Sana while working at a salon in the Jogeshwari area of Mumbai. The two reportedly developed a romantic connection, which led Sana to divorce her previous husband, creating a more complicated situation.

On May 29, Sana allegedly travelled to Faisal’s native village in Bijnor, prompting concern when she subsequently went missing. Authorities indicated that prior to her disappearance, Sana had been urging Faisal to consider marriage, which he appeared to resist, ultimately resulting in the tragic outcome.

The situation escalated when Faisal allegedly took Sana to a remote area near Fatehpur Sabhachand village under dubious circumstances. Reports suggest that he strangled her in this secluded location before burying her body in a field.
