A very shocking and disturbing case has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj district. A man allegedly killed his wife after engaging in a romantic and physical relationship with his own mother-in-law as reported by India Today. The incident has sparked outrage and disbelief across the region.

Twisted Affair Turns Deadly

The victim, 20-year-old Shivani, was found dead in the veranda of her matrimonial home in Nagla Parsi village, under Sidhpura police jurisdiction. She had been married to Pramod since 2018. According to her father, Narayan Singh, Shivani had been mentally and physically harassed for years after her husband began an illicit relationship with her mother, Premwati.

What began as suspicion turned into a full-blown scandal when Shivani’s family reportedly caught Pramod and Premwati in inappropriate conversations and compromising situations. Despite protests from Shivani and her family, Pramod allegedly continued the affair, which escalated tensions at home.

Domestic Abuse and Murder

Shivani’s relatives revealed she had been suffering immense emotional distress, especially as a mother of two young children, aged 2.5 years and 6 months. Pramod allegedly abused her regularly. The situation took a tragic turn two days before her body was discovered, after a heated argument reportedly ended with her murder.

Following the incident, Pramod and his family fled the village. Meanwhile, graphic and objectionable photos of Pramod and his mother-in-law began circulating on social media, further fueling public outrage.

Police Investigation Underway

Police were alerted late at night and arrived at the scene to find Shivani’s lifeless body. The body was sent for postmortem, and a murder case was registered against Pramod and other members of his family. Raids are being conducted to trace the absconding accused.

The case has sparked a public outcry over the betrayal of familial trust and the violent outcome of the alleged affair. Law enforcement officials have assured that justice will be served and are actively investigating all angles, including digital evidence.
