A journalist in Tamil Nadu was reportedly stabbed and assaulted by three unidentified individuals on the night of May 18, 2026. The footage reveals Muhaideen enduring multiple blows from the assailant while his family members, including his mother and wife, rushed out from the house to intervene. Despite their attempts to save him, the assault continued, with the attacker allegedly pushing his mother aside during the altercation.

Following the brutal assault, they quickly escaped the scene on a scooter.
