The backbone of a strong community is its empowered women and their strength to shape and inspire the future generation. By challenging industry stereotypes and continuing to break walls, Gulf Oil India celebrates the season of light by empowering women.
Being a pioneer of the sector, Gulf Oil broke stereotypes by roping in women’s cricket sensation Smriti Mandhana as a Brand Ambassador. Gulf Oil becomes the first brand in the lubricant space to appoint a female cricketer as an ambassador to represent the organisation and its ethos. Continuing on this path, Gulf is also promoting the businesses of 4 women entrepreneurs by choosing to gift their home-made products for Diwali gifting.
Gulf is celebrating the festive fervour with the joy of giving. A festival without family and gift can get lonely. Extending the festive spirit, the Gulf Oil team visited Vatsalya Trust – a home for lesser privileged girls in Navi Mumbai. Bringing joy on the faces of these children, Gulf was able to spread some smiles by giving them Diwali goodies and a donation amount.
A brand with strong ethos and responsive practices, this is a testament of Gulf going beyond business and providing opportunities. Diwali 2022 for the brand was all about brightening the lives of these girl children by extending joy, protection and care and also providing the right podium to upcoming business and supporting women entrepreneurship.
