The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has officially announced the Gujarat HSC Result 2026 today at 10 am. Students who participated in the GSEB Class 12 board examinations can now access their results online via the official portal, gseb.org. This announcement includes the results for HSC Science, General (Arts and Commerce), and vocational streams.

To retrieve their Gujarat Board Class 12 Result 2026, students must enter their six-digit seat number, which is found on their admit card. Upon submission, a digital marks memo will be displayed on the screen, detailing subject-wise marks, grades, and overall qualifying status.

The Gujarat Board Class 12 examinations took place from February 26 to March 18, 2026, conducted in a single shift. A total of 5.01 lakh students registered for the General stream, which included 4.4 lakh regular candidates. Additionally, 1.2 lakh students took part in the Science stream examinations.

How to Check the Results Online

Students can check their results by visiting the official website gseb.org and clicking on the HSC Result 2026 link located on the homepage. After the link is clicked, they will be prompted to enter their seat number in the designated field. Once the information is submitted, the results will appear on the screen for students to download and print for their records.

In an effort to enhance accessibility, GSEB has introduced a WhatsApp service for receiving results. Students can conveniently receive their results directly on WhatsApp by sending their seat number to 6357300971.

To pass, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject, alongside an aggregate score of at least 33 per cent, in accordance with the board’s passing criteria.

Additional Result Access via SMS and Future Announcements

For those preferring to check results via SMS, students should open the SMS application on their mobile phones. They need to type either GJ12S followed by their seat number for the Science stream or GJ12G followed by their seat number for the General stream. This message should be sent to 58888111, and the result will be delivered to the same number.

Moreover, the Gujarat Board has confirmed that the GSEB SSC Result 2026 is set to be announced on May 6, 2026, at 10 am. Class 10 students will be able to verify their results online through the same official website once they are released.

In the previous year, 2025, the overall pass percentage for the Gujarat HSC examinations stood at 91.93 per cent. Girls achieved a higher pass rate of 94.36 per cent, while boys recorded a pass rate of 89.45 per cent.
