‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Trailer Delayed Due to Lunar Eclipse on Release Date

On March 1, it was announced that the trailer for the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge would be released on March 3. However, less than 24 hours later, reports indicated that Jio Studios had decided against that release date. In an effort to clarify the situation, inquiries were made to reliable insiders.

Reasons Behind the Postponement

A source confirmed that the trailer’s planned release on March 3 was indeed accurate. However, the team was later made aware of the Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) occurring on that date, which is traditionally viewed as an inauspicious time for new beginnings. This particular eclipse is set to occur from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm, and since trailers are typically launched around midday, the timing fell within this prohibited window. Consequently, the decision was made to postpone the release.

Previous Plans for the Trailer Launch

A previous report from February indicated that the Dhurandhar: The Revenge trailer was scheduled for a launch event on March 5 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. This plan was later altered, leading to the digital release being slated for March 3. With the recent changes, it is now anticipated that the trailer may be released on March 5 or March 6 via digital platforms, with details of an event seemingly ruled out.

About the Film and Its Cast

The Dhurandhar series features well-known actors including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
