ViewSonic Corp., a global provider of visual and educational technology solutions, has announced the release of its new XG2738-2K-OLED gaming monitor. This 27-inch monitor incorporates QD-OLED technology and offers a native 2K resolution, designed for both hardcore gamers and gaming enthusiasts.

The XG2738-2K-OLED features a native 2K QHD (2560×1440) resolution and utilizes Quantum Dot-OLED panel technology to deliver high color accuracy and a rapid 0.03ms GTG (gray-to-gray) response time. The monitor includes an Esports Mode, allowing users to switch to a 24.5-inch view, which aligns with preferences of many professional esports players. It is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology to reduce screen tearing and stuttering, allowing for smoother gameplay.

To enhance the longevity of the monitor, the XG2738-2K-OLED comes with the ViewSonic OLED Care suite. This includes several anti-burn-in solutions that help reduce image retention over time. Features such as OLED Screen Movement, OLED APL (Average Picture Level), and Static Icon Detection operate automatically during regular usage, while OLED Image Cleaning can be user-activated for maintenance.

Powered by QD-OLED technology, the display is said to provide deep contrast, vibrant color reproduction, and uniform image quality from various viewing angles. It also supports HDR10 and 10-bit true color with up to 98% DCI-P3 color coverage, catering to the needs of both high-speed competitive gaming and visually rich AAA titles.
