Unsatisfied With 95.2%, Ranchi Student Achieves Perfect Score After Re-Evaluation

A student from Ranchi has achieved a remarkable turnaround in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, securing a perfect 500 out of 500 marks after opting for re-evaluation of her answer sheets. The revised result has placed her among the country’s highest scorers in the commerce stream.

Avni Kejriwal, a student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi, had initially secured 95.2 per cent when the Class 12 results were announced on May 13. Unsatisfied with the outcome, she sought a review of her papers, following which her score was revised to a flawless 100 per cent with full marks in all five subjects.

Re-Evaluation Leads to Dramatic Increase

Speaking after the revised results were declared, Avni said she believed her performance warranted a reassessment.

“When my results were out on May 13, I got 95.2 per cent in aggregate. My family members were satisfied with the marks, but I was not,” she said, according to PTI.

The re-evaluation process resulted in a significant jump in her marks, taking her aggregate score to 500 out of 500.

The achievement has brought her recognition as one of the top performers in the commerce stream.

Target-Based Study Routine

Avni attributed her success to maintaining a disciplined approach centred on completing daily goals rather than focusing on the number of hours spent studying.

“If I have set a target to complete two or three topics a day, then I have to complete them. It does not matter how many hours it takes,” she said.

She is the daughter of Ranchi-based businessman Mitesh Kejriwal and homemaker Poonam Kejriwal.

Avni said she plans to pursue higher studies and hopes to become an entrepreneur and establish her own business in the future.

Advice for Students and Praise From School

The student also advised her peers to maintain a balanced relationship with social media and use it in moderation without allowing it to interfere with their academic goals.

DPS Ranchi Principal Dr Jaya Chauhan congratulated Avni on her achievement and described it as a result of determination, focus and proper guidance.

“Her success not only brings laurels to DPS Ranchi, but also inspires countless students to strive for excellence,” Chauhan said.

Avni’s leap from 95.2 per cent to a perfect score after re-evaluation has sparked discussion over the significance of the review process.

Her achievement has also emerged as an example of perseverance and confidence in one’s own performance.
