Design Features of the Anniversary Edition

The Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition maintains the iconic design elements of the Classic 650, including the signature teardrop-shaped fuel tank and the nacelle-mounted headlamp. A standout feature of this model is the bespoke Hypershift paint finish, which changes colours between shades of red, green, and gold based on the angle of light.

This colour scheme is inspired by Royal Enfield’s historical paint finishes, with a brass base that pays homage to the brand’s early motorcycles dating back to 1901. Additionally, the special edition is adorned with a gold-finished 125-year crest, exclusive side-panel badging, and hand-painted pinstripes, enhancing its celebratory aesthetic.

Furthermore, the motorcycle’s design reflects a blend of modern craftsmanship and historical significance, appealing to both collectors and riders who appreciate the brand’s legacy.

Engine and Specifications

The Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition is powered by the well-known 647.95cc parallel-twin engine, which is also featured in the standard Classic 650. This engine generates a power output of 47bhp at 7,250rpm and delivers a torque of 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox, and it incorporates fuel injection and electric starting for enhanced performance.

The motorcycle is constructed using a steel tubular spine frame, supported by a 43mm telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is managed by a 320mm front disc and a 300mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as a standard feature to ensure safety.

In terms of dimensions, the Classic 650 rides on a 19-inch front wheel fitted with a 100/90 tyre and an 18-inch rear wheel with a 140/70 tyre. It has a fuel tank capacity of 14.7 litres, a seat height of 800mm, and a ground clearance of 154mm. The motorcycle weighs 243kg when fully fuelled with 90 per cent of its capacity, making it a robust yet manageable option for riders.
