Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday departed from Paris for India after completing a multi-city visit to France that included participation in the G7 Summit in Evian, an address at VivaTech 2026, interactions with the Indian diaspora and meetings with French leaders and business executives.
Reflecting on the visit, Modi said the trip had been “extensive” in terms of both engagements and outcomes and expressed confidence that the strategic partnership between India and France would continue to deepen in the years ahead.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said his visit began in Nice, where he attended the Bharat Innovates programme, before travelling to Evian for the G7 Summit and concluding in Paris with engagements focused on technology, business and the Indian community.
