The Nothing Phone 4b is scheduled for launch in India on July 7, marking an expansion of the Phone 4 series. The company has unveiled the device’s design ahead of its official release, showcasing its characteristic transparent aesthetic, which includes the distinctive Glyph Bar LED lights. The Phone 4b is expected to be positioned below the Phone 4a series, according to a post by co-founder Akis Evangelidis on X. Speculations suggest that it may serve as the successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Design Features of Nothing Phone 4b

The London-based company has introduced the Nothing Phone 4b in a striking blue colour variant. True to form, the smartphone features a transparent rear panel that displays internal components, including the textures of screws and other industrial elements. Its unibody design closely resembles that of the Phone 4a Pro.

The camera section includes a dual cut-out setup arranged vertically. On the right side, users will find a vertical Glyph Bar interface akin to that on the Phone 4a. This lighting component is designed to provide visual notifications, indicate charging status, and support alerts tailored to specific applications. Additionally, an LED flash and various sensors are positioned near the camera arrangement. The smooth transition from the flat frame to the curved rear edges contributes to a refined aesthetic.

In terms of overall design, the Nothing Phone 4b aims to maintain the brand’s unique visual identity while functioning as a budget-friendly option for consumers seeking a distinctive smartphone experience.

Specifications and Battery Information

The Nothing Phone 4b has reportedly appeared on Geekbench with the model number A009P. This listing indicates that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on 4nm architecture. According to the Geekbench scores, the Phone 4b achieves 1,088 points in single-core tests and 3,155 points in multi-core tests. Additionally, the device is listed to come with 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 16 upon release.

Regarding battery specifications, tipster Yogesh Brar has suggested that the Phone 4b will have a battery capacity similar to other models within the series. The Phone 4a features a 5,400mAh battery, which gives an approximate expectation for the upcoming model. However, it is worth noting that, in keeping with the company’s practices, a charger will likely not be included in the box.

As anticipation builds for the release, various details about the phone’s features and specifications continue to surface. This emerging information is positioned to attract price-conscious consumers looking for a reliable smartphone option without compromising on unique design and functionality.
