CSR: Hero Talent Search Scholarship Supported by Hero Moto Corp CSR and Implemented by FUEL NGO Helping 400 Scholars of Jaipur Govt. Schools

For IX and X graders from various government schools who belong to economically backward families, it was a dream come true opportunity to meet and interact with the leaders from academia and industry on 8th September. The venue of G D Birla Auditorium witnessed some of the most aspirational moments for 1200 students and their parents.
The occasion was the Induction program for the beneficiaries of HERO Talent Search – 2019, a CSR initiative by HERO MotoCorp to support the needy students and Implemented by a reputed NGO Friends Union for Energizing Lives (FUEL).
After the traditional lamp lighting by Chief Guests, the day started with the presentation by FUEL Management team about the work done across 13 states in the country. FUEL has been a pioneering organization in setting up Career Guidance and Skilling Centres (CGSC) across the country and has already shaped the lives of more than 10 lakh students. It was followed by the felicitation and awards to the Top 5 students who secured more than 85% in the board exam last year supported under ‘HERO Talent Search 2018’. All the recipients were extremely happy when they received the tablets with BYJU’s App to support their future education.
FUEL event
The 400 Scholars were excited to interact with Director – MNIT, Jaipur Prof. Udaykumar Yaragatti and CSR Head & CIO – HERO MotoCorp, Vijay Sethi along with other dignitaries. They were truly inspired by the leaders with an objective that ‘Dreams and hard work to achieve them’ is the mantra for success in life. Both the leaders shared their personal experiences from NIT culture and the contribution of the same in their lives.
Significant tips to crack the board exams by renowned teachers were shared with the students who’ll be appearing in the board exams in February/ March 2020. It was followed up by the panel discussion on ‘Exam Warriors: How to overcome the fear of Board Exams’. The day ended with a thank you note to Hero Motocorp and FUEL for supporting the students for a very noble cause.
Presence of Ketan Deshpande (Chairman & Founder – FUEL), Santosh Huralikoppi (Chief Mentor – FUEL), Dr. Mohit Dubey (CEO – Atal Incubation Centre, MIT ADT University – Pune), Rajesh Mukhija and Virendra Shaktawat from Hero CSR team helped students to gain insights from leaders across various domains.
