The CSR Journal Magazine

A woman’s video showcasing her furnished apartment in Dubai has gained significant attention on social media. In her clip, Nitika Mehta reveals the impressive sea-facing vistas, luxurious amenities, and the hefty rent she pays annually for the dwelling. The apartment overlooks the marina, providing picturesque views of yachts and beach sunsets, alongside the iconic Ain Dubai ferris wheel.

Nitika takes viewers on a detailed tour, displaying both the living room and the bedroom, which feature stunning marina views. The property includes two washrooms, a walk-in closet, a fully equipped kitchen, and an additional utility area, enhancing its appeal to potential renters.

The balcony stands out as one of Nitika’s favourite aspects of the apartment, offering an unobstructed view of the sea and Ain Dubai. “Sunsets here make me forget about the rent for a few minutes,” she expresses in her video, highlighting her enjoyment of the location.

Exclusive Amenities for Residents

In addition to the apartment’s features, residents have access to a variety of premium amenities within the residential complex. These include a swimming pool, gym, and squash courts, adding a layer of comfort to daily living. Nitika notes that the property is developed by Emaar, and one distinct advantage of this rental is that it is “chiller free.” This means tenants do not face additional payments for air-conditioning, making it more financially appealing.

The apartment was delivered fully furnished, though Nitika mentioned that she and her family have incorporated personal touches to make it feel more like their home. The tasteful decor complements the sophisticated design of the space.

Nitika also shared that some decorative items were sourced from Gurgaon, enabling the family to retain a sense of familiarity in their new environment. She expressed pride in the way they have customised the apartment, transforming it from a simple rental unit to an actual home.

The Financial Aspect of the Apartment

The annual rent for the apartment is reported to be 120,000 AED, which is approximately Rs 31 lakh, amounting to nearly Rs 2.6 lakh per month. Nitika articulates that despite the high cost, the features and location of the property offer valuable returns in terms of lifestyle quality.

In her social media post, Nitika remarked on the journey to find the right accommodation in Dubai, stating, “After looking at what felt like half of Dubai, we finally found a place that felt right.” She appreciates the big windows that allow ample natural light, marina views, and the overall ambiance that gives a sense of settled living.

The transition into their new apartment has been marked by an exciting unpacking experience. Nitika mentioned they were “literally unboxing brand-new spoons, cutlery and coasters” on moving day, accentuating their eagerness to settle in and make their apartment feel like home. She concludes her reflections on the apartment with fondness for the memories they are beginning to create in their new surroundings.
