The recent death of Deepika Nagar on May 19 has raised suspicions after an eyewitness, Gulzar Chaudhary, recounted the events surrounding her fall. The young woman was found lying on the ground outside her home in Jalpura village, shortly after a loud noise was heard at around 12:30 am. Chaudhary stated that he had not previously seen Deepika’s face and had no knowledge of any disputes between the couple.

According to Chaudhary, he heard a loud sound emanating from the vicinity of the house belonging to Deepika’s in-laws. Upon investigating, he witnessed Deepika on the ground, after which her husband, Hrithik, reportedly came running down from the rooftop. He mentioned that Deepika was transported to a nearby hospital in a neighbour’s vehicle, which belonged to Manoj Pradhan.

Chaudhary described that Deepika’s position was alarming, as her face was turned towards the ground. He reflected on the couple’s lifestyle, noting that they tended to be private and that he had never observed any signs of conflict between them.

Family’s Allegations of Foul Play

Following the release of the post-mortem report, Deepika Nagar’s family has alleged that she suffered physical assault prior to her fall. Her father, Sanjay Nagar, confirmed that the autopsy revealed injury marks on Deepika’s body. This has led him to assert that she was subjected to violence before being thrown off the rooftop, raising alarming questions regarding the circumstances of her death.

Deepika’s uncle, Vishesh Nagar, has echoed these sentiments, expressing concerns about the nature of the incident. He noted that the family later became aware of pending criminal cases involving Deepika’s father-in-law, further complicating the situation and casting doubt on the family’s account of events.

Furthermore, Deepika’s mother and sister have claimed that she faced harassment linked to dowry demands, alleging that pressure was placed on her for a car.
