Delhi CM Announces Formation of a Traders Association

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the formation of the Delhi Traders Welfare Board, which will serve as a platform dedicated to making the city more trader-friendly. As the war between Iran and Israel escalates, the supply of dry fruits and petroleum is facing a lot of uncertainty. It is under these circumstances that the new Traders Association of Delhi is being established to support traders during times of global crisis and market instability.

“Under this initiative, the government aims to revitalise the trading industry in the city. The board will play a crucial role in promoting the interests of traders and contributing to the city’s economic growth,” said CM Gupta.

The role of the Traders Association also includes addressing the needs of traders, with a focus on policy formulation, regulatory challenges, and trader welfare, as well as boosting employment and investment, among other goals.
