Renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat

In February this year, Adani Green Energy Limited announced that it has started power generation at its renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat. The company announced that it has operationalised the first 551 MW solar capacity at the plant and started supplying to the national grid. Adani Green plans to develop a 30 GW renewable energy capacity at its Renewable Energy park, which is expected to be operationalised in the next five years. Upon completion, the Khavda Renewable Energy park will be the largest renewable energy installation in the world, as per an announcement made by the company. Once the plant is fully operational, it is expected to generate 81 billion units of clean electricity.
