A man has climbed a high-tension electricity tower in Raipur on Monday, seeking the removal of alleged encroachment on his land. The incident transpired in the Silatara outpost area within Raipur district, where the individual, identified as Kishan Lal Nishad, resides in Sondra village.

Local sources indicate that Nishad has been attempting for nearly 12 years to reclaim his land, which he claims has been encroached upon by a steel manufacturing company.
