In a formal communication regarding this change, producer Ramesh Taurani elaborated on the reasoning. He stated, “We had originally slated Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai for a June 5 release, a date we had announced earlier. Recent developments have prompted us to reconsider, and we believe it is prudent to adjust our release timeline.”

Taurani highlighted the value of camaraderie within the film industry, expressing, “We feel it is beneficial for all filmmakers when they support one another, rather than competing for the same audience on the same date. This spirit of collaboration has led us to move our release to June 12, allowing audiences to enjoy our film a week later.” While the release has been rescheduled, promotional efforts for the movie will continue as planned, with the launch of the soundtrack and trailer expected in the coming weeks.
