Second Day Of UP TET 2026 Features Stringent Security Measures

The CSR Journal Magazine

The second day of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) was held with stringent security protocols on July 3, 2026. Authorities implemented multi-layered checks at examination centres to guarantee a fair evaluation process. This test is scheduled to run from July 2 to July 4, 2026, across the state.

Approximately 19.5 lakh candidates are participating in this state-level examination at various locations throughout Uttar Pradesh. In Chandauli alone, around 25,000 candidates are expected to take the tests over the three-day period at twelve designated centres.

Enhanced Security Measures Implemented

At the Railway Inter College examination centre in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar, candidates underwent a comprehensive three-tier security screening before being granted entry. This process included thorough frisking using metal detectors, verification of identification documents, and biometric authentication.

Police personnel and security officials were stationed at multiple checkpoints to oversee the flow of candidates entering the centre. Participants expressed that the extensive security arrangements instilled confidence in them regarding the integrity of the examination process. However, some candidates noted ongoing concerns about recent incidents involving paper leaks in competitive exams, which they believe adversely impact dedicated candidates.

One candidate remarked that while they were hopeful about the fairness of the exam, paper leak incidents are disheartening for students who have invested considerable effort in their preparations. “We have prepared well and hope the examination is conducted honestly. Paper leaks affect students who work hard for months,” the candidate stated after completing the security protocols.

Participation From Serving Teachers In UP TET

The UP TET also included participation from serving teachers who were reappearing for the examination as directed by the judiciary. Certain teachers who had not previously qualified were required to pass the eligibility test. Many of these individuals mentioned the challenges of balancing their teaching responsibilities with preparation for the exam.

One serving teacher shared insights on the difficulties faced, stating, “It is difficult to study while teaching, but we have prepared as much as possible. We hope to clear the examination.” The sentiment reflects the dedication many teachers have in striving for qualification while managing their classroom duties.

District authorities commended the extensive security measures implemented during the exam period. They reported that in addition to biometric verification, close monitoring of examination centres has been enforced to deter malpractice and ensure the smooth conduct of UP TET. These measures are intended to provide a secure environment for all candidates participating in the examination.
