The CSR Journal Magazine

Sakshi Suresh Jain has successfully secured All India Rank 1 in the CA Foundation examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for May 2026, achieving a score of 371 out of 400 marks, which translates to 92.75 per cent. Originally hailing from Pachora in Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, she is currently pursuing her studies in Nashik. Her impressive performance in this highly competitive examination has garnered attention across the nation.

Challenges During Preparation

Despite the triumph, Sakshi’s journey to the top has not been without personal challenges. A month prior to the examination, her father underwent open-heart surgery in Chennai. This situation added emotional strain to her final weeks of preparation. Sakshi expressed her fears during this time, stating, “I was terrified when my father underwent surgery.” However, she received unwavering support from her family, particularly from her mother, Mousami Jain, who reassured her to focus on her studies while the family managed the situation.

During this critical time, Sakshi maintained a disciplined study routine, dedicating nearly 10 to 12 hours daily to her preparation at Impact Commerce Academy. She emphasised the importance of taking short breaks to avoid mental and physical exhaustion, stating that balance is key to maintaining focus. Her family played a crucial role, providing the emotional support she needed to stay committed to her studies.

Her father, who works as a grain merchant in Pachora, has been a significant influence throughout her academic journey. The support from her extended family also contributed to her success during this period of uncertainty and stress.

The Role of Family Support

Sakshi credits her family as the cornerstone of her accomplishments. Throughout her father’s hospitalisation, her relatives shielded her from the stress of the situation, ensuring that she remained focused on her exams. “I found friends and people around me who kept encouraging me throughout my journey,” she reflected. Their guidance was clear: concentrate on studies, and everything else would be taken care of at home. This emotional backing was vital for her during a particularly challenging time.

When the results were released, the sheer joy of achieving the number-one position overwhelmed both Sakshi and her family. While she had anticipated placing among the top twenty, her actual rank brought tears of joy to her household and initiated celebrations in her home village. Following her achievement, a felicitation ceremony was organised in Pachora to honour her success.

Aiming for Further Achievements

Sakshi has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, previously scoring 498 out of 500 marks (99.8 per cent) in her CBSE board examinations. Her primary objective remains to complete her Chartered Accountancy qualification and establish a successful career in the field of accountancy. Currently, she is preparing for the CA Intermediate level, marking the next phase in her educational journey.

Sakshi views her accomplishment in the CA Foundation exam as merely the first of many milestones in her pursuit of a professional career. She firmly believes in the principle that hard work yields results, stating, “One must keep working honestly and give one’s best.” With her studies in B.Com and preparation for intermediate exams in progress, she is focused on maintaining high academic performance throughout her upcoming challenges. Her story exemplifies the significant role family plays in the pursuit of success amidst life’s hurdles.
