Similar Threats Reported at Rajasthan University of Health Sciences

In a related incident, the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) in Pratap Nagar also received a bomb threat through an email communication. This notification was directed to the police control room, prompting officials to take necessary preventive actions. Investigators are working to ascertain the origin of these threats and ensure public safety.

Previous Threat to Nainital District Courts

Earlier, on February 17, the Nainital District and Sessions Courts experienced similar bomb threats via email, where a report indicated the possibility of involvement by a suicide bomber. This led to an immediate enhancement of security protocols at the court facilities to protect all attending individuals. Police initiated a complete security sweep of the area to identify any potential risks.

Security Measures and Ongoing Investigations

In response to the latest threats, law enforcement officers implemented strict security measures. All entrances to the affected court in Nainital were closed temporarily, and thorough checks were conducted on individuals entering or leaving the premises.

Circle Officer Ravikant Semwal stated that, up to that point, no suspicious materials had been discovered, allowing court sessions to resume after verification of safety conditions. Additionally, the police have taken the step of filing a case against unknown individuals in relation to these threats, with investigations progressing.
