Real estate developer Prestige Estates Projects Limited (PRESTIGE), in collaboration with Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) and Craig Park Layout Residents Association recently unveiled the redeveloped Craig Park in Bengaluru.
This key beautification initiative was undertaken with an intent to make the property at par with international standards of infrastructure layouts. Craig Park layout, located in the heart of Bengaluru, has been redeveloped with utmost precision keeping in mind the challenges faced by residents in terms of existing infrastructure. This exercise has proved successful in refining the street to transform the neighborhood for the residents.
Commenced in June 2020, Prestige has spent the last eight months redeveloping over 345m at Craig Park Layout. Their remodeling efforts have resulted in an upgraded driveway, transformed overhead power and communication lines to an underground system, halogen to LED lights and water and gas lines for further redevelopment.

The collaborative effort came through the support of funds collected by the very residents of Craig Park and the Prestige Group CSR Fund. Recognizing the need for the property’s transformation early on the local authorities worked closely to ensure the project came to light seamlessly and efficiently.
Irfan Razack, MD Prestige Estate Projects commented, “We are delighted to have successfully completed our redevelopment project at Craig Park layout. Our work has not only transformed the infrastructure but also uplifted the entire neighbourhood. An initiative of this nature helps us outline the limitless potential of foreseeable future. We extend our gratitude to the members of the Craig Park association and the BBMP team for extending their support towards converting this dream into a reality.”
Seconding Mr. Razack’s thoughts, the secretary of Craig park Association, Lal Dadlani, said, “ We are thrilled to be part of such an uplifting and community benefiting initiative. It is incredibly motivating to see how the occupants, residents and involved parties worked as one unit to bring this to life.” The BBMP Commissioner stated, “We hope this will set the precedent for similar initiatives in the city of Bengaluru. This project is an example of the cohesive results of a driven team of locals, brands and authorities working passionately towards a better tomorrow.”
Shantinagar MLA MA Harris, shared his views, “This project will be the benchmark for communities acting as a guideline encouraging more parties in the future to contribute and be receptive toward taking the responsibility/onus for reforming the evolution of a community and society.”
