JBL has officially introduced two new headphone models in India, namely the JBL Live 780NC and the JBL Live 680NC. These high-end products aim to compete with well-established brands such as Sony and Sennheiser in their respective market segments. The Live 780NC has a retail price of Rs 15,999, whereas the Live 680NC is priced at Rs 11,999. However, it is anticipated that the market prices may be slightly lower due to potential discounts and bank offers.

While the JBL Live 680NC became available for purchase on July 15, 2026, the JBL Live 780NC can be pre-ordered starting today. It will officially launch on the first day of the Amazon Prime Day Sale, which is scheduled from June 23 to June 26, 2026.

Product Features and Specifications

Both headphone models are equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers and utilise True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology. This newer version employs real-time noise filtering and improved processing capabilities to block out ambient distractions more effectively than earlier generations. In terms of audio for calls, each model features beam-forming microphones, supported by an AI-driven noise cancellation algorithm.

The design specifications indicate that the Live 780NC incorporates six microphones for enhanced noise cancellation, while the Live 680NC utilises four microphones. Regarding battery longevity, JBL asserts that users can experience up to 80 hours of use when Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) is turned off, and around 50 hours when ANC is engaged. Notably, a quick five-minute charging session can provide an additional four hours of playback.

Additional features of both models include JBL Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0 for a customised audio experience, LDAC for high-resolution wireless audio, Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connectivity, and Auracast support.

Design and Colour Options

The design of both the JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC headphones features a foldable structure, complemented by metallic accents and soft-touch ear cushions for comfort. The Live 780NC is an over-ear design weighing 260 grams, while the Live 680NC is a slightly lighter on-ear variant, weighing 231 grams. Consumers will have seven colour options to choose from, including Black, Blue, White, Champagne, Green, Orange, and Purple.

As for availability and promotional offers, the JBL Live 780NC can be pre-ordered today on JBL’s official website as well as on Amazon, with an introductory discount of Rs 2,000 and a bonus offer of a one-year extended warranty valid until July 31, 2026. Meanwhile, the Live 680NC has already been made available for purchase through JBL’s website, Amazon, and various leading retail outlets since July 15, 2026.
