The investigation seeks to clarify how Radha came to open the lift door prior to the elevator’s arrival and whether any safety measures were in place or violated.

Residents of Bhavana Apartments and nearby areas have expressed deep shock regarding the incident. The lift system in residential complexes is often viewed as a safe mode of transportation, leading to heightened concerns about the potential for mechanical failure or human error. The local community is awaiting the findings of the investigation to address safety measures effectively.

The authorities have also been urged to review safety regulations concerning lift operations in residential buildings to prevent similar incidents in the future. These safety parameters are critical in ensuring the well-being of residents, particularly in multi-storey apartments.
