Gautam Gulati Triggers Second Takhta Palat in ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’

The balance of power in ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’ has shifted once again, as Gautam Gulati initiated the second Takhta Palat of the season. His decision as the Ultimate Ruler resulted in the Workers seizing control of the Penthouse, while the former Rulers were relegated to the Basement. This significant change followed a contentious dispute regarding the final nectar count during a task that was rife with arguments over Gautam’s leadership and Jashwanth Bopanna’s role as supervisor.

The task culminated in disagreements among contestants, particularly regarding Gautam’s decisions and the conduct of Jashwanth. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary confronted Gautam about his immunity, asserting that it provided him an unfair advantage in the game. The shift in power dynamics not only altered the living arrangements but also impacted the prize money, affecting the contestants’ strategies moving forward.

Disputes Over Nectar Count

The final nectar count became a central point of contention during the task. Jashwanth disqualified 20 drops from the total, resulting in a count of 48. However, Shehzad Poonawalla disputed this calculation, insisting that the correct count was 68. With both sides steadfast in their positions, Gautam was left to make the ultimate decision. He accepted the count of 68 drops, declaring the Workers as the winners.

This marked a historic moment in ‘Rise & Fall’, as it was the first instance of a second Takhta Palat occurring within the same season. The Workers now controlled the Penthouse, while the former Rulers were forced to adapt to their new circumstances in the Basement. This power shift also had financial implications, with the Workers’ prize money increasing to Rs 22.4 lakh, while the new Workers received Rs 12.55 lakh.

The former Rulers found themselves at a disadvantage as the Workers took charge. The aftermath of the power shift saw unexpected reactions among the contestants. Manish Kashyap expressed gratitude towards Gautam, which surprised many. Karan Patel reassured Niharika and Priyanka that he bore no ill will towards them, while Shehzad offered an apology to Gautam. Despite the ongoing competition, some contestants appeared willing to reconcile their differences.

Strategising for Future Challenges

As the new day dawned, fresh disagreements emerged among the contestants. The former Rulers speculated that Priyanka might come to regret her participation in the show, while the newly empowered Workers began plotting their next strategic moves. Shehzad and Gautam were observed discussing tactics to keep Manish from advancing in the race to become the Ultimate Ruler.

The dynamics within the group occupying the Penthouse shifted the contest for power into a new phase. As the game continued, contestants were aware that their relationships and strategies would be tested further. The evolving landscape of alliances and rivalries promised to create additional drama as the season progressed.

Produced by Banijay Asia and hosted by Virender Sehwag, ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’ is available for streaming on Prime Video, with new episodes released daily at 12 noon. The unfolding events highlight the complexities of competition and the shifting allegiances among contestants, setting the stage for future developments in the series.
