The CSR Journal Magazine

A shocking incident of alleged assault and sexual harassment has come to light from Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area, where a gym owner and his family were reportedly attacked by a group of men following a dispute over a business arrangement. The incident occurred on January 2 and has triggered widespread outrage after CCTV footage surfaced, prompting swift police action.

Business Dispute at the Centre

According to Delhi Police, the victim, Rajesh Garg, runs a gym from the basement of his residential property. Garg alleged that the gym’s caretaker, Satish Yadav, had cheated him and attempted to take over the commercial venture without consent. The dispute had reportedly been brewing for some time before it escalated into violence.

Altercation Turns Brutal

Police said that on January 2, Garg and his wife went to the basement to inspect a water leakage issue. During this time, Satish Yadav allegedly arrived with several associates.

Garg claimed that a heated argument followed, during which the men allegedly assaulted him, punching and kicking him repeatedly. He further alleged that his wife was molested during the confrontation, adding a disturbing dimension to the incident.

Son Allegedly Humiliated in Public

The situation reportedly worsened when the couple’s son arrived at the scene after hearing the commotion. Garg alleged that the group forcibly dragged his son outside the house, stripped him naked on the street, and beat him in public view. The alleged act caused fear among residents, with several neighbours later approaching the police.

Police confirmed that CCTV footage from the area captured portions of the incident and is being examined to verify the allegations and identify all those involved. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law.

Arrests and Manhunt Underway

Satish Yadav has been arrested in connection with the case. Three other accused, identified as Vikas Yadav, Shubham Yadav, and Omkar Yadav, are currently absconding.

Police teams have been deployed to track down the remaining suspects. Authorities stated that further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events and ensure strict legal action against those responsible.
