Reinforcing its commitment to healthcare and community welfare, Xiaomi India, a global technology leader, has partnered with the Sood Charity Foundation to enhance Healthcare support to the Andhra Pradesh government. As part of this initiative, Xiaomi India and the Sood Charity Foundation have donated four Type B (Patient Transport Vehicles) ambulances to enhance emergency response capabilities and strengthen healthcare infrastructure across underserved districts in Andhra Pradesh.
The formal handover ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Actor and Philanthropist Sonu Sood, Founder of the Sood Charity Foundation, Mr. Varun Madan, Chief People Officer, Xiaomi India, and other dignitaries. The ambulances were officially presented to the Andhra Pradesh government to bolster critical medical services in remote areas, ensuring timely and efficient patient transport during emergencies. These ambulances are equipped with medical equipment and life-saving tools to provide immediate care to those in need.
