Convergint’s 24th Annual Social Responsibility Day and STEP Up for Schools initiative Benefit Underserved Communities Worldwide
Over 300 Convergint colleagues across India dedicated their time and expertise as part of the company’s 24th annual Convergint Social Responsibility Day, joining thousands of colleagues worldwide in giving back to their local communities. In India alone, teams volunteered more than (1800) hours to support local schools and community institutions, with a strong focus on improving safety infrastructure and access to basic amenities in underserved communities.
Globally, 7488 volunteers from Convergint, a leading global systems integrator with over 220 locations worldwide, participated in this year’s initiative, working with more than 174 community organisations and 35 schools across 37 countries.
A major focus in India was the STEP (Secure, Train, Educate, Protect) Up for Schools initiative, which aims to create safer learning environments for students and educators through the donation and installation of integrated security technologies.
